Training Methodologies
VMI Powerlifting believes in training the competition lifts(squat, bench press, and deadlift) as a whole. Training consists of lots of squats, bench presses, and deadlifts. You will also see members of the club performing lots of pull ups, dips, and overhead presses. The underlying theme of our training is that there is no secret to getting stronger, you must pick up heavy things consistantly and repeatedly over time in order to get stronger.
